I've had a couple of bees that somehow got in my helmet, and watched them walking across the *inside* of my face shield. Both times, I made a quick exit to the side of the road and ripped off the helmet and threw it to the ground.
The one that made the most lasting impression, though, was one yellow jacket that somehow blew between my legs and the saddle, and managed sting me right through my jeans... on my scrotum. OUCH! I remember sitting at my buddy's house with an ice pack on my balls for a couple of hours. I don't think his mom ever laughed so much.
